Road safety - cycling and walking to schoolThe County Council encourages walking and cycling to school.
This combines for example classroom work linked to the national curriculum, cycle & pedestrian training, assistance for schools in updating their School Travel Plans, and auditing the infrastructure around schools to ensure it meets the needs of pupils.
