I want to advertise the fact that I offer credit. Are there any rules about what I can say in an advertisement?

There are specific regulations covering credit advertisements and the nature of the advertisement determines the rules you have to follow. Contact the trading standards advice team for specific advice for your circumstances. There is also a comprehensive advice booklet published by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) which can be supplied by our office on request or from the link below
