What should I do if I believe there has been improper conduct, fraud or corruption in the Council?There are codes of conduct setting out standards of behaviour required of officers. If you believe you have evidence of improper conduct, fraud or corruption you should write, in confidence, to the Chief Executive who will arrange for an independent investigation by the Council's Monitoring Officer or Chief Internal Auditor.
