What types of educational visit are covered by the code of practice?

All activities which takes place off the school site. These include:
  • Sports activities and matches;
  • Swimming;
  • Rural studies;
  • Cultural visits;
  • Field studies;
  • Farm visits;
  • Coastal visits;
  • Residential visits in the UK and abroad;
  • Foreign exchange visits; and
  • Adventure activities in the UK and abroad.
