What are these services?

What should I do if I find an injured swan?

Swan injuries and sickness are caused by things such as vandalism, discarded fishing tackle, lead or pollution poisoning or even air rifle shootings.

You should contact the Yorkshire Swan Rescue Service (details below), a registered charity, number 1113771, which runs a hospital for sick and injured swans.

Telephone Dan Sidley of the Yorkshire Swan Rescue Service on: 07763 424892 twenty four hours a day. Alternatively you can email: YorkshireSwans@aol.com.
