Who works at the children's residential units?The staff team at a children's residential unit is made up of a manager, two group leaders, children's centre workers, educational tutor, cook, general assistant and a handyperson.
All staff at the residential units are trained, dedicated and carefully selected to make sure they are fit to look after the young people in their care. Each unit welcomes support and advice from other agencies and professionals, such as doctors, community nurses, counsellors, drug/alcohol advisors and educational tutors.
