As part of its commitment to improving its service to both residents and businesses in North Yorkshire we now export information from the Street Works Register (SWR) (which maintains a record of historic, current and planned works and events on the highway network) to an external system hosted by our engineering consultancy partner Jacobs UK.

The system, named ELGIN is a map-based roadworks information service providing details on road closures, roadworks, obstructions, events and other information for road users across a large area of the UK. Please visit the ELGIN website for more information.
