What are these services?

Consultation and community engagement

We aim to engage and involve you in shaping our services, ensuring that local views and opinions are reflected in our decisions.

We have an engagement promise which sets out what you can expect from us. This is part of our legal duty to involve you in the decisions we make.

We will do this in different ways including providing information, consulting you to find out your views and working more directly with you to ensure that your individual needs are being met.

Ways to get involved, find out how decisions are made in your area and have your say about the services you receive

We are also working with other organisations in North Yorkshire such as the district and borough councils and the police to make sure we are joining up existing and new consultation and engagement. In this way we should avoid duplication, save resources and get a clearer view of how we can all improve our services. For more details of this work please visit the North Yorkshire partnerships website.
