This library is managed and operated by volunteers working in partnership with North Yorkshire Council.

Library opening hours

  • Monday: 9am to 6pm
  • Tuesday: 9am to 4.30pm
  • Wednesday: 9am to 5pm
  • Thursday: 9am to 4.30pm
  • Friday: 9am to 5pm
  • Saturday: 10am to 12noon
  • Sunday: closed

Finding the library, parking and access

The library is in Ingleborough Community Centre, in the heart of the village. Buses stop directly outside.

A pay and display car park is directly outside the library. Tickets to allow free parking for library users are available on request from the community centre office and library staff or volunteers. There is wheelchair access to the library.

Items available from the library

You can borrow a range of books for all ages in a variety of formats, including large print and audio. Music CDs, DVDs and foreign language titles are also available for loan, as well as micro:bits. You can request any item that is not immediately available.

Book group

All welcome! Contact the library to find out about joining the group which meets on the first Friday of the month from 6pm.

Class visits

Class visits may be organised to the library.

Computer and IT drop-in

Volunteer experts can help with your laptop, tablet or mobile device problems. The drop-in sessions are held every Monday from 10am to 12 noon.

Lego Club

Lego Club runs every week on Mondays in term time from 3.45pm to 5pm.

Storytime

Stories and crafts for children aged up to five on the first Wednesday of the month at 2pm.
