Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy consultation

The Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy is produced by the Health and Wellbeing Board for the population of North Yorkshire. In 2013 we produced our first health and wellbeing strategy which took into account what local people and our partners told us they thought our priorities should be.

We have updated our strategy because we want it to be an on-going work plan that makes a difference, rather than a document on a shelf. We want to keep it up-to-date so that people living in North Yorkshire continue to have access to great services that take into account:

• the latest evidence from our Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA);
• changes in national policy, local ambition and people's expectations; and
• what local people say about what's important to them for their long-term health and wellbeing.
