What are these services?

Libraries

North Yorkshire library and information services maintain 35 libraries and one supermobile library in the County. We also support various community run libraries and library outlets.

If you are not already a member, come into your nearest library and join today or join online.

Enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff will help you to find books, computers, music, films and much more. Our libraries give anyone living, employed or studying in North Yorkshire access to a wide range of services. You can also download e-books and digital audiobooks.

Your library, your space - stakeholder conference

On Monday 11 March 2013, the library service ran a stakeholder conference for community library groups and partners.

The conference brought together a range of stakeholders to contribute their ideas of what the library service should be doing and what the revised "New Look, No Shush" strategy should contain. See the stakeholder conference page for more details.
