We are continuing to see some impacts across roads in some areas covered by the Met Office amber warning for snow.
Particularly issues continue on higher ground across on some routes around Pickering, Kirby Misperton, Scarborough and Whitby as well as the North York Moors. Please take additional care if you have to travel in those areas.
There are also a small number of very local interruptions to services like waste and recycling collections in certain areas, school closures and our registrars service. Get the latest information:

Interruptions to our services
Bin collections
Due to the weather conditions, we were unable to collect all waste and recycling bins in the Scarborough and Whitby areas. If your bin was not collected please leave it out and we will collect it when we can.
Crews were also unable to collect waste and recycling in the Easingwold and Stokesley areas. Again, if your bin was not collected please leave it out and we will collect it when we can.
