Are you a qualified accountant looking for a new opportunity to lead, implement and embed change?
We are looking for qualified accountants with experience of leading a team to join our finance team. You will be responsible for providing financial information, advice and support to a range of customers including budget managers, senior management, members and partners. As a senior accountant, you will have the opportunity to work across a number of fields of accountancy including strategic planning, budget support, pensions, commercial and technical. You will act as the knowledge expert on the functional area assigned to you and you will co-ordinate projects on your team to meet the priorities and objectives within the finance service plan and your team’s plan.
Working with internal and external partners, you will support a wide variety of front-line services such as children and young people services, health and adult services, business and environmental services. We also provide services to schools and early years providers as well as external customers including the North Yorkshire pension fund and an increasing number of commercial companies.
