  • North Yorkshire mental health strategy - the North Yorkshire mental health strategy sets out a new vision and new priorities for mental health services as well as a series of commitments for the next five years.

  • North Yorkshire timber freight quality partnership - find out how we are supporting the forestry industries in the area to access the timber resource whilst minimising the impact on the public road network, local communities and the environment.
  • Settle area freight quality partnership - find out how the partnership aims to reduce the impact of freight transport on the local community within the Settle area, with specific focus on the movement of vehicles to and from the Ribblesdale quarries.

  • York, North Yorkshire and East Riding local enterprise partnership - the York, North Yorkshire, and East Riding local enterprise partnership is a partnership of people from local authorities and businesses who use local knowledge to secure government investment in projects and schemes that will make a real difference to our economy.
  • York, North Yorkshire and East Riding strategic housing partnership - the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding strategic housing partnership brings together housing sections from the local authorities in York, North Yorkshire and East Riding and works to deliver our housing priorities as part of the local enterprise partnership area.

Safer communities

Armed forces

  • North Yorkshire armed forces community covenant - Find out about the North Yorkshire armed forces community covenant - a voluntary statement of mutual support between the civilian community and the local armed forces community.
  • Veterans Gateway - the Veterans’ Gateway makes it as simple as possible for people who served at any time in the armed forces to access the right help when they need it, wherever they are, regarding housing, employment, finances, living independently, mental wellbeing, physical health, families and communities. Advisors are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week - many of whom are veterans themselves.
