Record keeping

For farm record keeping, laws govern what information must be kept on record and for how long.

Disposal of fallen stock

Farm animal carcasses cannot be buried or burnt in the open due to the risk of disease spreading by birds, other scavengers, or groundwater or air pollution.

Pet travel scheme

Rabies-susceptible animals entering the UK have to spend six months in quarantine, except for those exempt under the pet travel scheme.
