View cycle routes across the county on our online map, report a problem or view advice about requesting a new lane.
We're committed to promoting cycling as an alternative to car travel for short trips or as part of longer journeys.
Cycle lanes can be: mandatory, which are marked with solid white lines, and from which other vehicles are excluded for at least part of the day, and advisory, which are marked with broken white lines and can be used by other road users if necessary.
How to request a new cycle lane
We encourage residents who consider there is a need for a new cycle lane to discuss the request with the local parish or town council. Find out more about requesting highways improvements here.
