DIY products cannot be accepted at any of our household waste recycling centres.

DIY products including the below list cannot be accepted at household waste recycling centres:

  • bitumen;
  • photographic chemicals;
  • silicone sealant;
  • water sealant;
  • water proofer;
  • wood filler; or
  • wood preservative.

If you have no use for these items, please pass them on to someone who can use them.

You should contact us to arrange collection, free of charge, if you have any hazardous chemicals at your home. Tell the team as much as you can about what needs to be collected, including quantity, volume and size.

Hazardous chemicals from a business or charity must be disposed of through a private licensed contractor.
