Facilities Management

Facilities Management have been delivering cleaning and catering services to approximately 250 schools across North Yorkshire. This includes LA Maintained Schools, Academies and Multi-Academy Trusts.

Our level of experience means we fully understand how schools operate on a daily, termly and annual basis. This allows us to provide a service that works for the school. 
We have developed excellent working relationships with each school and are proud to be seen as a valued provider. 

Catering

With a specialist background in delivering first class meals to schools, our dedicated Catering service offers a wide range of support – from cooking and facilities management, to annual budgeting and training. We have been recognised by the Soil Association through their Food for Life served here Bronze Award. This prestigious award recognises our commitment to serving fresh, environmentally sustainable and ethical food, championing local producers and making healthy eating easy. We ensure our produce is seasonal, organic, sustainable, free range, local and traceable. 
Our services are built with students in mind to create nutritionally sound menus for the children and young people, making sure special dietary requirements are met.

  • Communicating with catering staff ensuring tasks are carried out to the highest standards;
  • Liaising with Head Teacher and Area Management  Team on issues relating to the standards of service in school;
  • Promotion of the catering service in school to increase uptake by participation in promotional activities.

  • Reporting to the line manager and alerting other members of staff to potential hazards in the kitchen;
  • Promoting the catering service to all customers including parents and pupils  by taking part in activities designed to increase meal uptake.
