Supported Internship is a work based study programme for 16 to 24 year olds with special educational needs and disabilities, who have an education, health and care plan.
Apprenticeships are work based training for 16 -25 year olds where you will have a real job and train.
Further Education is where you are based at a college or 6th form and study for qualifications from foundation learning to BTECs and A-levels.
Different areas of North Yorkshire can offer other Post 16 provision e.g. Personalised Learning Placements, so have a look on the internet and talk to your careers advisor at school.
Traineeships are another work based study programme for 16 to 24 year olds who are not in employment (from 6 weeks to a year).
