Access agendas, minutes and reports from full council meetings as documents to download, and listen to audio recordings online.

The full council of 72 members meets quarterly, to vote on the decisions made by the executive committee and examined by the overview and scrutiny committees. You can find more information about how the council is structured.

You can access full minutes, agendas and reports from full council meetings here. They are also recorded in their entirety, and the recordings are not edited.

How to listen to the recordings

First, open the meeting you are interested in below, and then press the orange 'play' button. You can jump straight to a particular section using the numbered links underneath each main recording.

If you use a mobile or tablet, you can use the Soundcloud app available on Android and iOS. This means you will be able to download the recordings, and receive alerts for a new recording. You can also do this on a computer via the Soundcloud website

If you are using a North Yorkshire County Council corporate computer, the audio features will not appear. You will need to come back to this page using a public PC, private computer or personal device.

Correction

Please note that in the recording below, a reference is made to the remuneration of the Chief Finance Officer post for Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby CCG. The correct figure should be that the post in question is paid an annual salary in the region to £65,000-£70,000 which is equivalent to a full-time yearly salary of between £110,000-£115,000.

Please note: the recording below is not entirely complete due to a fault on the day with the sound recording equipment. This has affected the executive member update for waste services, and some of the executive member update for fostering, adoption and looked after children. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Unfortunately the audio minutes from the 23 July 2014 are unavailable due a technical fault with the recording. We apologise for any inconvenience.
