Handmade Christmas and Glitterfest at library

Festive fun for all the family can be enjoyed at the first Handmade Christmas and Glitterfest at Scarborough library on Saturday, 30 November, from 11.30am to 2.30pm.

Chrystal Decanter

Christmas crafters will be able to make simple festive handmade gifts and home accessories, including door wreaths, table centrepieces, Christmas cards, glass decorations, jewellery and handmade truffles as well as sparkly children’s crafts and decorations.

Chrystal Decanter, drag queen extraordinaire, will entertain visitors in glittery style, and the Wellbeing Choir will perform Christmas carols and popular songs from 1.30pm to 2pm. Mince pies and refreshments will be served from 1pm.

The library will be adorned with decorations and there will be a range of Christmas books to borrow on subjects from cooking to crafts and traditional festive stories.
