Tangled tales and far-flung fables in Ripon and Knaresborough

Strange-Twig Theatre Company comes to Ripon and Knaresborough libraries on Friday, 1 March, bringing stories galore in its show, Tangled Tales and Far-Flung Fables.

Putting their unique spin and special effects on traditional tales passed down for generations, they promise a spine-tingling delight for families with children aged seven to 12.

The Yorkshire-based company specialises in street theatre, clowning, storytelling and stage productions. Whether on the street, at a festival, on a stage or performing in smaller venues such as libraries, their fast-paced, energetic and playful performances have received enthusiastic reviews.

Strange-Twig will be at Ripon library at 10.30am and at Knaresborough library at 2.30pm on Friday, 1 March. Tickets are available at the libraries and cost of £1 per child (adults and under-sevens go free, but the stories may not be suitable for younger children).
