Thrill for crime fiction fans as the Big Read returns to libraries

Bookworms are invited to celebrate the enthralling world of crime fiction at the county’s libraries in the annual Big Read.

Bestselling crime author Mari Hannah will visit Northallerton library and Ripon library to discuss Michael Connelly’s thriller, Black Echo.

Readers are encouraged to collect a free copy of the book at these libraries ahead of the event on Wednesday, 5 June.

The Big Read is supported by the Arts Council and run in association with the Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival.

Mari Hannah will visit Northallerton library on Wednesday, 5 June, at 11am, before heading to Ripon library for 3pm.

Tickets are available from the relevant library and on the website. They are free but spaces are limited.
