Two pioneering businesses from North Yorkshire scoop Queen’s Award for Enterprise

Claiming the accolade for International Trade, two companies have achieved substantial growth in overseas earning and in commercial success in what is a prestigious honour the equivalent of an MBE for business.

The Queens Award for Enterprise

Primeast Ltd is based in Harrogate and offer organisational consulting and enterprise learning in the fields of leadership, team and individual executive coaching.

C-Kore Systems Ltd near York design, manufacture and rent specialised subsea electrical test tools for subsea oil and gas fields. This is the second Queen’s Award for Enterprise received by C-Kore Systems as they were also honoured in 2019 in the Innovation category. 

The Lord-Lieutenant, Mrs Johanna Ropner, said: “I would like to congratulate Primeast Ltd and C-Kore Systems Ltd, winners of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2021, who have been honoured in the International Trade Category. These awards are much-deserved and a worthy recognition of the excellence offered by our remarkable North Yorkshire business community.”
