Scheduled monuments

These features range from the magnificent ruins of the Cistercian Fountains Abbey to simple cup and ring marked rocks on the Nidderdale moors.

There are more than 150 scheduled monuments in the district, with more being added continuously through English Heritage's monuments protection programme.
