Local assistance fund

The fund supports vulnerable adults to move into or remain in the community, and to help families under great pressure to stay together.

The emergency duty team deals with social care emergencies outside office hours.

Occupational therapy

We offer two kinds of occupational therapy service - social and health.

A telephone modem to enable you to use the telecare system.

Telecare services

Telecare is a system that uses a range of sensors to help you to live at home, if you are vulnerable and need support.

Community alarm services

Alarms help people who are vulnerable due to age, ill health or disability to call for help in an emergency 24 hours a day.

Short-term support, reablement and home from hospital care

We can help you and your carer if you have short term care needs, such as support or rehabilitation when you are discharged from hospital.
