Members' allowances

Allowances and expenses paid to elected members of North Yorkshire County Council have been published for 2011/12. The council spent £863,168 on basic, special responsibility and chairman's allowances and £79,668 on travel, subsistence and other allowances for the year ending 31 March 2012.
