Information for swimming pool users

Both swimming pools remain closed while our £1.2 million repair programme progresses. The work, which includes essential repairs, enhanced lighting and heating system upgrades, is due for completion by the end of 2026.

The pool café will also close from that date but is expected to reopen as soon as possible while the works continue.

There is no public access to the road from the station car park to the leisure and wellbeing hub via the underpass during the works. Diversion signs are in place showing the alternative route.

The gym, class studio, sauna and steam room will remain open as normal.

We thank you for your ongoing patience and would like to remind customers that they can use pool facilities at our neighbouring Active North Yorkshire sites.

Find more information, including details about swimming lessons and bookings, on our advice page for customers in Richmondshire.
