16 to 18 year olds Official documentation showing your date of birth, such as a driving licence or passport
Full time student Official documentation of your status as a full time student such as an enrolment letter or student card
Aged 60 and over Official documentation showing your date of birth, such as a driving licence or passport

In receipt of:

  • Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment
  • Carer's Allowance
  • Employment and Support Allowance
  • Income Support
  • Working Tax Credit

Notification letter of the benefit and one of the following:

  • recent bank statement showing the benefit paid in
  • blue badge (for Disability Living Allowance only)
  • current allowance book
In receipt of Universal Credit Notification letter of the benefit and recent bank statement showing the benefit paid in
In receipt of Jobs Seeker's Allowance - contributory and income based Qualifying stamp on application form
In receipt of NHS Tax Credit Exemption NHS Tax Credit Exemption Certificate
In receipt of Housing Benefit Notification of benefit award letter dated on or since the 1 April of the current financial year
In receipt of Council Tax reduction (excluding single occupancy discount) Notification of reduction letter and a Council Tax bill showing the rebate

Senior concession: Aged 67 or over Official documentation showing your date of birth, such as a driving licence, passport, bus pass or pension credit book/letter
Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Award letter confirming entitlement
Disability Living Allowance (DLA) Award letter
Attendance Allowance Award letter
Universal Credit Notification letter and recent bank statement showing payment
Housing Benefit Award letter dated on or after 1 April of the current financial year
Council Tax Reduction Reduction letter and Council Tax bill showing rebate
Pension Credit Award letter
Income Support Award letter (replaced by Universal Credit from 1 April 2026)
Jobseekers Allowance Qualifying stamp on application form (replaced by Universal Credit from 1 April 2026)

To take advantage of these concessionary rates, you must have supporting evidence to show you meet the required criteria. This evidence must be brought to reception within 14 days.
