Over August and September we are introducing new memberships to make them simpler, clearer and more consistent across all of our Active North Yorkshire leisure and wellbeing hubs and community hubs.

Choose your membership

Select the membership type that is right for you, such as all-inclusive, concession or swim only, then choose your level of access.

Premium memberships

Provides access to all Active North Yorkshire centres

Core memberships

Provides access to all centres except:

Harrogate Leisure and Wellbeing Hub
Knaresborough Leisure and Wellbeing Hub
Ripon Leisure and Wellbeing Hub

Upgrade with a +Membership

For all memberships you will be able to upgrade to +Membership for an additional £5 a month which offers enhanced benefits, including:

10 day advance booking for in-centre classes
24/7 access to the gym at Northallerton and Thirsk Leisure and Wellbeing Hubs
access to Active Anytime - in the near future we will be rolling out more exciting benefits such as private GP appointments, remote physiotherapy sessions, access to qualified dieticians, 24/7 mental health support and on-demand exercise classes and workouts

Businesses who have more than 15 staff can also set up corporate memberships with us. Ask your employer if they are part of our scheme. Businesses looking to set up access to the corporate membership scheme for their employees can contact their local leisure and wellbeing hub.

We are currently developing Active Anytime which will offer:

Active Anytime is coming soon and you will be able to purchase it as a standalone membership for £9.99. It is also included in our +Memberships.

Membership eligibility

Concessionary membership eligibility

To qualify for a concessionary membership you will need to provide the following proof.

Student concession - full time student or apprentice	Official documentation of your status as a full time student such as an enrolment letter or student card
Senior concession - state pension age	Proof that you get the State Pension such as your award letter or digital confirmation of State Pension or proof of your age if you are 67 and over
Personal Independence Payment (PIP)	Award letter confirming entitlement
Disability Living Allowance (DLA)	Award letter
Attendance Allowance	Award letter
Universal Credit	Notification letter and recent bank statement showing payment
Housing Benefit	Award letter dated on or after 1 April of the current financial year
Council Tax Reduction	Reduction letter and Council Tax bill showing rebate
