Change in opening hours for library Christmas festival on 1 December

We are extending our opening hours on Saturday 1 December for our Christmas festival. The library will be open from 9.30am to 4pm.

As part of the festival there will be a drop-in festive storytime from 10.30am to 11.30am and a drop-in Christmas cards and crafts session from 2pm to 3pm.

  • Tuesday, 10am to 4pm
  • Wednesday, 2pm to 5pm
  • Thursday, 3pm to 6pm
  • Friday, 10am to 4pm
  • Saturday, 9.30am to 12.30pm
  • Sunday, closed

Finding the library, parking and access

The library can be found in the rear of Bedale Hall, at the end of the High Street opposite Bedale Church. A bus stop is on the High Street.

Parking is available for 20 cars including two disabled spaces. Alternative parking is available on the market square and in the car parks behind the shops on both sides of the High Street. Some assistance may be required to help wheelchairs enter Bedale Hall, but all areas of the library are accessible to wheelchairs.
