Recycling bring sites in the Richmondshire area

We currently have 17 bring sites around the Richmondshire area where you can recycle a variety of items such as plastic bottles, food tins and drink cans, mixed glass bottles, paper and cartons.

Our list of sites tell you:

• where each of the sites is located
• what type of waste each site will accept 

Please remember that glass, plastic bottles, cans, cartons, paper, card and textiles can all be recycled in your kerbside recyclable containers. 

Although our recycling sites are emptied on a regular basis, at certain times of the year, such as Christmas, these sites are much busier. If you do find the bring sites are full please do not leave items at the side or on top of them.

Recycling soft plastic

The Co-op stores in Richmond, Leyburn and Catterick Garrison offer a soft plastics recycling scheme. You can recycle soft plastics such as crisp packets, chocolate wrappers, bread bags and fruit and vegetable bags. Visit the Co-op website for details.
