Our website and telephone payment systems are unavailable between 6pm and 10pm on Friday 26 April. You will not be able to pay for any council services on our website or over the phone during this time.
If your bin has been missed, we can arrange a collection in the Selby area.
Use this service to report a missed bin collection for domestic properties in the former district of Selby.
You should report a missed bin within two working days of a missed collection. We can’t collect a missed bin reported after this time and you will need to wait until your next collection.
Please check:
- your bin was presented for collection by 7am on the correct day (find your bin collection day here)
- your bin wasn’t too heavy, overfull or contained the wrong materials (find out what you can and can't put in your bins here)
- the collection crews left a sticker or hanger on your bin to explain why it wasn’t emptied
We try to collect missed bins the following working day. For missed collections reported to us on a Friday, this will be the following Monday.
