Request a larger bin in the Ryedale area

This service is delivered differently in each area of the county. This information relates to the former district of Ryedale. Looking for information in another area of the county? You can change the location here.

Find out how to request a bigger waste bin for larger households or due to medical reasons in the Ryedale area.

All properties in the Ryedale area should have as standard a 180 litre rubbish bin.

Households of five or six residents can swap their standard bin for a larger green 240 litre rubbish bin.

Households of six or more residents may qualify for a 360 litre bin.

If someone in the household has a medical condition that results in excess waste being produced, they may qualify for an extra or larger bin.
