The plans will help guide future funding bids by ensuring they are targeted to local priorities.
This project is supported by David Skaith, Mayor of York and North Yorkshire and part-funded by York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.
Nidderdale, a stunning valley in North Yorkshire, is named after the River Nidd that winds through it.
Designated as a National Landscape (formerly Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), it offers a unique blend of dramatic moorland, rolling farmland and picturesque villages. At its centre lies the market town of Pateley Bridge, renowned for its award-winning High Street, independent shops and the world’s oldest sweet shop.
We are working with local community anchor Nidderdale Plus and the newly formed Nidderdale Community Partnership to develop the plan.
Have your say
To make sure each investment plan reflects local priorities, we are inviting residents, business owners and visitors to share their views on their local area and how you think it could be improved.
