North Yorkshire Horizons is an integrated drug and alcohol recovery service for North Yorkshire. North Yorkshire Horizons is a free service which offers access to experienced and professional teams who work with individuals on their journey to recovery from drugs and / or alcohol. When you join the service, you will be allocated a key worker who will support you throughout your treatment and help you develop a recovery plan that's built around you and your circumstances.
North Yorkshire Horizons offer a range of advice and support within your area including:
- Structured counselling;
- Day programmes; and
- Access to detoxification services.

North Yorkshire service for young people
Compass REACH is a free service for young people aged from nine to 19 (and up to 25 for those with special educational needs or disabilities) across North Yorkshire affected by substance misuse, poor sexual health and issues relating to emotional wellbeing and mental health.
National help and advice on drug related issues
- FRANK the drugs helpline, offers information and advice to anyone concerned about drugs use. You can call the 0300 123 6600 helpline number 24-hours a day, 365 days a year to speak to a trained advisor in confidence. The advice is free. You can also contact FRANK via instant messenger on the website between 2pm and 6pm, email firstname.lastname@example.org or text 82111.

- If your family is being affected by drug issues, support is available through Adfam.
