Filey Town Investment Plan

We are developing a Town Investment Plan for Filey as part of a regeneration programme across 32 towns in the county.

The plans will help guide future funding bids by ensuring they are targeted to local priorities.

This work is supported by David Skaith, Mayor of York and North Yorkshire and receives funding from the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.

Filey is a charming coastal town with a rich heritage and a five-mile stretch of golden sand and a scenic Brigg headland. With direct rail links to Scarborough and Hull it is a popular destination for tourists seeking a combination of natural beauty, generous welcome and a range of annual events reflecting Filey’s historical links and vibrant community spirit.
