Kirby Hill and District Parish Council is formed by a group of five parishes. There are single councillors representing between 22 and 33 electors each in three of the parish areas, and Milby parish (which has the most electors) has fewer councillors than Kirby civil parish.
The parish council has requested to reduce the number of councillors for the grouped parish council, and to change the number of councillors representing parishes to reflect changes in the distribution of electors across the five parishes generally.
