Summer concerts

On a Sunday afternoon from the end of May to the beginning of September from 2pm until 4pm, you can enjoy listening to bands, choirs and musical groups at various locations within the Harrogate area, and Peasholm Park in Scarborough.

It is free to listen to the bands, but they may take a collection on the day to help with their expenses, so why not come along and have a lovely afternoon in beautiful surroundings.

The concerts take place at these locations:

  • Valley Gardens, Harrogate
  • Castle Grounds, Knaresborough
  • Spa Gardens, Ripon
  • Recreation Ground, Pateley Bridge
  • Peasholm Park, Scarborough

30 August: The Cherry Tones

Venue: Castle Grounds, Knaresborough

23 August: Knaresborough FEVA Festival
30 August: The Merlins

Venue: Spa Gardens, Ripon

23 August: Lily Worth

Venue: Peasholm Park, Scarborough

23 August: Simply Brass
30 August: Swinton and District Excelsior Band
6 September: Scarborough Concert Band

Other activities

Each venue, be it in scenic Victorian gardens or the setting of a historic castle, is well worth the trip in its own right.

All locations have a range of other activities for you to enjoy too, including outdoor games, family trails and play areas.
