Knaresborough is charming, picturesque and historic market town that town lies in the heart of North Yorkshire and is mentioned in the Doomsday Book as Chednarsburg. Knaresborough boasts a rich heritage, with Knaresborough Castle dating back to Norman times. The towns market began back in the 1200s and was granted a royal charter by Kind Edward II in 1310.
