How to get to Knaresborough Castle and Museum
By bus
From the bus station, walk down the cobbled street to the Market Place. Keep left and walk towards the Market Tavern pub. Turn right as you reach the pub to head into Castle Yard car park. The castle is to your left, next to the car park.
By train
The castle is a 10 minute walk up a steep, picturesque hill from the train station. At the top of the hill, enter the Castle Yard car park beside the police station. Head across the car park to enter the castle grounds
By road
Follow the brown signs to guide you to the nearest car parks for the castle. Limited pay and display parking is available in Castle Yard car park just outside the castle grounds, and four bays are reserved for visitors with disabilities
There are further pay and display car parks on Chapel Street and in the Market Place.
The coach drop off point is on Chapel Street and coach parking is on York Place.
