On 1 April 2023 a new unitary council was launched for North Yorkshire.
This new council replaces the seven former district and borough councils:
- Craven District Council
- Hambleton District Council
- Harrogate Borough Council
- Richmondshire District Council
- Ryedale District Council
- Scarborough Borough Council
- Selby District Council

Accounts and online services are still split into the 8 former council areas, so to minimise confusion, we have included login links on pages that launch those services, rather than expecting you to know which of many different online accounts you might want to log into.
