Landlords are being invited to a North Yorkshire Council advice forum next month.

The last in a series of forums to provide key advice to private sector landlords takes place in Richmond next month.

The initiative, which we run in conjunction with the National Residential Landlords Association, aims to give private landlords, estate agents, estate landlords and people involved with the private housing sector a forum to gather information and updates on changing legislation.

It has already seen more than 150 landlords join forums in Scarborough, Malton, Northallerton, Selby and Harrogate this year.

Executive member for housing, Cllr Simon Myers, said: “These forums are a great way for us to support landlords across North Yorkshire as well as give them a networking opportunity with their fellow landlords.

“They provide news on important information and any changes to legislation as well as updates from us and partner agencies.”

The Richmond Forum, on Wednesday 13 November takes place at Richmond Town Hall, Market Place from 4pm until 6pm.

Places can be booked online.
