Connect to Work is a free and voluntary programme that offers one-to-one support to help you find a job or stay in work.
We understand that health conditions, disabilities, or other challenges can make finding or keeping a job difficult. That is why we offer personalised support, built around you, your needs and your goals.
How we can support you
When you join the programme, you will work with a dedicated adviser who will support you at your own pace.
They can help you to:
- understand your strengths, skills and interests
- build your confidence
- create or improve your CV
- prepare for interviews
- access training and learning opportunities
- find job opportunities that are right for you
- connect with local employers and services
- get the support you need for your health and wellbeing
If you are already working but worried about your job, we can also support you to stay in work and develop in your role.
We aim to help you move into paid work that suits you, and support you to keep that job once you start.
Who can take part
You may be able to join Connect to Work if you:
- are aged 18 or over and live in England
- are not taking part in another Department for Work and Pensions employment programme
- are unemployed, or in work but at risk of losing your job
- have a health condition, disability, or face challenges that make it harder to work
