Works requiring building regulations approval

Most types of building works require some form of building regulations approval to ensure their safety.

These can include:

  • new buildings
  • extensions
  • structural and other alterations such as the removal of load-bearing internal walls
  • loft conversions and dormers
  • garages/garage conversions
  • new drainage work
  • changes of use/conversions
  • replacement windows and doors
  • electrical works
  • upgrade to thermal elements such as new insulation or re-roofing
  • internal alterations

The onus is upon you as the owner to ensure you have complied with Building Regulations, so please don't hesitate to contact us.
