Temporary delay in responding
We have recently changed our planning system. As a result of the impacts of this we are currently working through a validation backlog. This means applications are taking approximately five weeks from receipt to be validated. This is also impacting on our ability to respond to permitted development and other general enquiries.
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we work through this change.

We welcome and encourage pre-application discussions on development proposals.
The easiest way to submit an application is online, via the Planning Portal website. You can complete the application form, attach supporting documents and pay fees online, saving you the cost of printing and posting.
We want to help you submit applications with all the information we need to assess them. If an application is not submitted with the required information it will not be valid and we will not be able to process it.
