Strategic housing and economic land availability assessment (SHELAA) methodology 2019

Start date: Thursday 28 November 2019

End date: Thursday 19 December 2019

The SHELAA is a technical document which provides information about the suitability, availability and achievability of sites submitted, by landowners and agents, for potential housing and economic development. We are consulting on an updated SHELAA methodology, which has been prepared in response to changes in national planning policy and guidance. Once finalised, the methodology will set out the process by which sites will be assessed and the results of this assessment will be published in an updated SHELAA in early 2020. More information about the SHELAA is available on the SHELAA page.
