Local development scheme

The local development scheme (LDS) identifies the planning policy documents we are preparing and intend to adopt as part of the statutory development plan.

It includes a timetable for preparing each document, which sets out when each stage will happen.

The LDS also lists the supplementary planning documents (SPDs) we are preparing. SPDs set out formal guidance on the operation of planning policies.
