Local Plan 2012 – 2028

The Richmondshire Local Plan 2012-28: Core Strategy was adopted by us on 9 December 2014.

Annual infrastructure funding statement

The Infrastructure Funding Statement (IFS) is an annual report that explains how developer contributions have been secured and spent through Section 106 agreements (S106) and Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) during a specific financial year.

Supplementary planning documents

Supplementary planning documents (SPDs) provide additional guidance for implementing Local Plan policies.

Neighbourhood planning

The Localism Act gives local communities greater control over the development of their areas.

Monitoring information

Our annual monitoring report (AMR) sets out progress on the preparation and delivery of the local plan.

Strategic housing and employment land availability assessment

The National Planning Policy Framework requires us to annually update a supply of specific deliverable sites sufficient to provide five years' worth of housing against our assessed housing requirements.

Strategic housing and employment land availability assessment map

The purpose of this map is to display all of the sites that were submitted as part of the call for sites process undertaken by us in 2017, together with planning, environmental and archaeological constraints that will be taken into consideration when assessing site suitability.
