We are consulting residents about the future governance of Potto Parish Council. Following a request to dissolve the parish council and create a parish meeting, we are undertaking a community governance review to ensure that parish level governance arrangements are operating as effectively as possible.
A 12 week stage one public consultation ended in December 2025 for Potto Parish Council. The results of this consultation have been analysed and the recommendation for this parish council is listed below:
Recommendation 1 – that Potto Parish Council is not dissolved and changed to a parish meeting and that the area should not be altered.
